What's New in v2.8.0

RobotCode v2.8.0 is a big release. It supports Robot Framework 7.5 and is the biggest update yet for PyCharm, where RobotCode now offers nearly everything it offers in VS Code, from run configurations and debugging to test results and settings. VS Code gets a Documentation Viewer and follows your Python environment by itself, and the website has moved to a new platform with a new structure, a polished design and new guides, along with much more.

Not everything is perfect yet, and there is still quite a bit of work ahead, but we are working on it. I look forward to feedback, reviews and suggestions for improvement from the community.

What's New in v2.7.0

RobotCode v2.7.0 is about running tests in the environment they actually need. The new wrapper option lets a command of your choosing bring up that environment — services, mocks, a graphical session — run the tests inside it, and tear it down again, from the command line and from your editor alike. Alongside it, the analysis cache is now trustworthy under rapid file changes, so stale errors no longer stick around in the editor or the CLI. And running a subset of tests from the VS Code Test Explorer works cleanly again on Robot Framework 6.1+.

What's New in v2.6.0

RobotCode v2.6.0 builds out a Robot Framework project's command line: project-aware commands discover tests, inspect finished runs, check code, explore keyword documentation and debug a run. A first version of chat plugins lets AI agents drive the robotcode CLI, and the release introduces the first experimental SemanticModel preview.

What's New in v2.5.0

If you've ever opened a large Robot Framework project and gone for coffee while RobotCode was still thinking — this release is for you. Version 2.5.0 is all about speed: faster startup, faster analysis, faster code completion. And a few new tricks on top.
